Funding Withdrawn

On October 1, 2013, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Mass. stopped funding the maintenance and operations of the Hingham Girl Scout House.  In the same year, the roof began leaking and the furnace stopped working several times.

Community Steps Forward

A major campaign was launched in Hingham to Help Save The Girl Scout House. The response was very positive from the Girl Scouts and the community at large with approximately $130,000 raised in the first year from donations, CPC funds, and in-kind services.
